Her poetry has been published in Maudlin House, Panorama, FEED lit mag, and elsewhere, and her essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books as well as several academic journals. The recipient of numerous awards, including a Fulbright grant, she has also been a reviewer for Publishers Weekly. She received her PhD in English from the University of Rochester, where she studied early lyric poetry (medieval and early modern).

In her career as a medical writer, Jenny is committed to working collaboratively with medical and healthcare professionals in order to produce writing with accuracy, clarity, and empathy. More details can be found on Linkedin.

Jenny has taught writing and literature in a range of community and academic capacities, and she continues to seek ways to bring writing opportunities to new communities. Endlessly moved by writing in all its forms, Jenny is also deeply invested in more physical kinds of movement: she is an avid runner (3x Boston Marathon Qualifier), nature devotee, yogi, and — with her enthusiasm for music and playlist curation — an experienced indoor cycling instructor.
